On Sunday, the 1^st of June it took place ninth traditional annual festival dedicated to the International Children's Day in Krasnoyarsk . This year carnival was held under the slogan "Children of the world: we are different but we are equal."  Participants dressed in costumes of different nations, marched from Gorky Street to Theatre Square. There was the awarding of winners of carnival costumes at Theatre Square at the end.
