The competition Best in Profession in the tourism industry 2016 is completed in Khakassia.

6 hotels of Khakassia took part in the competition: Abakan, Asia, Khakassia, Anzas, Sayanogorsk and Chalpan.

The competition was held in the following nominations: "The Best of reception service in Khakassia 2016" and "The Best Hotel Maid in Khakasia Republic 2016". Both won the staff of the hotel Chalpan! The best maid is Svetlana Silicheva working for the hotel Chalpan.

Within the category "The Best of reception service in Khakassia 2016" the work of receptionists was judged according to the responses to telephone questions from potential customers. One of the most interesting test of the competition was the solution of possible conflicts. As part of this test, the receptionists showed knowledge of foreign languages, stamina and the ability to communicate with people.

As the heads of hotels say, the maids are a very important element of the tourist industry. The quality of housekeeping and cleanliness of all subjects play an important role in the perception of the entire hotel and travel. The commission judged the work of maids in the knowledge of cleaning technologies, speed and quality.

The winners of the regional competition will take part in the All-Russian competition of professional skills of employees of the hotel business, which will be held in the autumn 2016.
