Students of Krasnoyarsk Siberian Federal University have found Scythian burials during the excavations of archeological camp ‘Valley of Kings’ on the territory of the planned railway ‘Kyzyl-Kuragino’.

According to Denis Gergilev,  the director of the archeological camp, the burials are referred to Neolithic period. Two out of five burials turned out to have been robbed, the rest were full of remains of men, slivers, ceramics. All the findings are carefully worked up, and at the end of the excavations they will be transferred to the Institute of material culture of Russian Academy of Science, and then to the local museums.

Apart from archeological excavations, the participants were also educated there. Thus, the leading scientists of Siberian Federal University read lectures on ecology and history to students-volunteers. The participants were students from more than 20 subjects of Russian Federation, and also volunteers from Austria, Poland, Belgium, France, Great Britain.
