Krasnoyarsk won 2 gold medals and a special diploma at VII International Youth Delphic Games of the CIS

The games took place in Astana from 24 to 29 of September. More than 800 young talents from the CIS, and also from Austria, Rumania, Turkey and Italy came to the capital of Kazakhstan. In every of the 29 nominations there worked a special jury which included 62 representatives from 14 countries.

Krasnoyarsk ballerina Polina Ryasnaya was given a special diploma ‘For professionalism’ in the nomination ‘Classical dance’.

Krasnoyarsk region has been taking part in the Delphic Games for a long time. In the official Delphic rating of 1999-2011 Krasnoyarsk region shares the 4th place with Moscow among 83 subjects of Russian Federation.

Delphic Games are competitions (contests, festivals), and also exhibitions and presentations in different spheres of art. Nowadays they are called the creative Olympics and considered to be one of the most prestige youth forums in the world. The participants in the age of 10 to 25 compete not only in classical (violin, piano, ballet), but also modern kinds of art (web-design, DJing).
