A greater part of festivities was held at the Moscow parks, the Moscow department for family and youth policy reported. Festive concerts, exhibitions, charity spectacles, youth actions, sport games, competitions, entertaining events and many other festivities was held in all administrative districts in Moscow.

The family festival “City of Mothers” offered to the visitors of the Krasnaya Presnya Park the entertainments for all members of the family: football, contests, creative art and dance master classes. On the program of the festival was a contest of family photos in the social networks, the master class for the duet swing dance lindy hop, a performance of a street orchestra and a music band. The photo art gallery “Mother – the first word”, the adventure quest “City of Mothers”, which were engaged the guests of the festival in gaming, sport and creative activities, were also organized. The leading specialists in psychology, pedagogy and dietology gave free consultations.

The Day of Mother was also celebrated at the Fili Park. The guests were attend the festive concert “About that woman, who presents the life and love to us!” Moscow pop singers, a magician, the folklore band “Oberegi” (Amulets), circus actors and the animation company “Welcome to the fairytale” were participate in the concert.
