At present, in Tomsk oblast have announsed plans to offer the following destinations:
Narym
A small village on the bank of the River Ob', Narym used to be a place for political exiles. In 1912 Joseph Stalin served his term here.
Timiryazevskoe Village
Another small village in the outskirts of Tomsk is a treasure grove of pre-historic artifacts and late medieval archaeological finds. Over 20 archaeological monuments await the fans of ancient history and old-time lifestyle.
The Tea Route
Similar to the Great Silk Way, the Tea Route connected China and Europe to bring exquisite Eastern teas to the West. Tomsk used to be one of the stops along the route. Incidentally, Chinese tourists are already able to enjoy the Tea Route excursion that also goes through Buryatiya, Irkutsk Region, and Mongolia.
