2 km from Pristan we will meet Churgimsky waterfall. Extraordinarily beautiful view of the waterfall is a landmark of the reserve. With almost 10-meter-high it carries its waters rapidly. Around colored rocks. At the bottom there is a small lake where you can swim. Climbing the slopes along the waterfall, you find yourself in a 150-meter stone canyon, built from trappean rocks. On the slope uphill a trail goes up to the mountain Cascade, which there are still felled in 1908 trees. The mountain offers a rare view of the valley Churgim.
Descending from the mountain, we go on the road. In a way, you can relax near the column "Southern Basis". This is the middle of the way, that is 3.5 km. Then starts the country of dead wood - the so-called telegraph forest. It was over this place, 5-7 km altitude, there was an explosion of an unidentified object. Another 10 minutes walk, and you get off at the western shore of the famous southern swampland. And finally, we go out into the open space. Through peat moor are are approaching Kulik's hut.
In January 1929 a team of workers cut down 2 huts, smithy and a food storage shed. Leonid Kulik called a hut Meteorite Zaimka. Buildings (except smithy) are survived to our time. Currently Zaimka is a monument of history, architecture, art and archeology of regional significance. This forwarding database on the effects of the explosion of the Tunguska meteorite.

Trip to the mountain Farrington – the highest point in the preserve (521,7 m), John’s Stone, historical complex Kulik’s hut (there is a net of such places in the preserve). From Kulik's huts to Farrington there are well trodden pathes. On the route are two huge uprooted trees - they are witness a fiery hurricane in 1908. On the top of the mountain there is a healthy boulder with the inscription: "Farrington. Astroradiopoint 1929".
Those interested can go to Suslov funnel - Kulik drained the swamp, he was firmly convinced that one of the fragments of iron-nickel meteorite is just at the bottom of the swamp. The funnel is located two hundred meters from the Kulik's huts.
From recent times local attractions include the so-called John's Stone, which is located in the caldera of an ancient paleo-volcano. The mysterious stone, discovered in 1972 by John Fedorovich Anfinogenov (a researcher from Tomsk, member of 18 volunteers expeditions since 1965). According to him, on aerial photographs in 1938 it's clearly seen the open furrow in the ground by the movement of the 10-ton boulder along the top of the mountain Stojkovic (look at Google images), it is generally in line with the trajectory of the Tunguska cosmic body. There are, however, a mismatch - stone is made up of sedimentary rocks of terrestrial origin, not occurring in the area. But, according to John, meteorites may be of terrestrial origin.
