From the village Listvyanka the most part of Irkutsk visitors start their acquaintance with Lake Baikal. The village is located at the Angara river rise, 68 kilometres away from the center of Irkutsk city.
The village is full of sightseeings. Baikal Museum, solar telescope of SibIZMIR, private art gallery, Limonology museum are the most popular places of interest. There are also a Church of Saint Nicolas, Catholic Parish of John Paul II in the village as well as the monument to Alexander Vampilov. Architecture-ethnographic museum “Talzy” is located on the highway to Irkutsk. Automobile tour to the lake Baikal with visiting all the sightseenigs takes 3-4 hours, but without stops it will take 40 minutes to get from Irkutsk to Listvyanka.
