Art-gallery “Krasnoyarsk Contemporary Art”

Establishing of “Krasnoyarsk Contemporary Art” showroom is a first big project of “Our Heritage” Fund lead by Vyacheslav Grishanov. The gallery is situated inside the building of the “Recreation center n.a. the 1^st of May” on the right bank of Yenisei. Opening ceremony was celebrated with an exhibition which has united 36 professional artists. Since then there have been a lot of solo exhibitions in this showroom.

A very interesting thing here is a gallery of portraits of well-known people from our region. Among them there is a portrait of Ekaterina Yofel (painter – V. Korotkov) who is a professor of classic vocal and a teacher of Dmitri Hvorostovsky and other famous singers, also there is a portrait of people’s artiste of Russia Dmitri Hvorostovsky made by N. Kuzmin and a portrait of V. Astafiev .

Since 2007 the gallery has been regularly holding an “Art-gallery charity lottery”, which is intended not only to popularize the works of well-known Krasnoyarsk artists, but also gives a chance to art-lovers to gain a painting of a real master. In the showroom it is usual for a visitor to meet a lot of interesting people: Krasnoyarsk poets, artists and musicians.

Art-gallery “Hingan”

Art-gallery “Hingan” is one of the first private galleries established in Krasnoyarsk. There are a lot of regular exhibitions of painters of different art directions and styles from Krasnoyarsk and other cities of Krasnoyarsk Krai. The main aim of the gallery is to involve Krasnoyarsk citizens in arts, to make them know the artists and to help gifted people to develop their abilities. Also there are some contests and special campaigns held in the showroom. Active and creative young people from “Atma” club organize concerts and different kinds of meeting in the gallery. There is no entry fee so everything is free of charge. Also there are master-classes devoted to different arts and crafts, for example wool felt, polymer clay creations and decoupage.

Contemporary art-gallery “Secach”

The gallery is located on the first floor of Krasnoyarsk Museum Center. The main area of activities – exhibitions and sale of pieces of work of contemporary artists, development and promotion of different kinds and genres of contemporary art, which is extremely popular nowadays.

This is the first style-creating gallery of contemporary art in Siberia. It includes new art tendencies and directions. Its objective is to find and open new names and support successful painters in their new quality.

The activities of “Secach” gallery are aimed at making Krasnoyarsk people know the most interesting events in world of modern culture by organizing exhibitions, movie shows, lectures and master-classes of famous Russian and foreign painters, curators, critics, producers etc. In the gallery the works of painters from Krasnoyarsk and other Russian cities will be exhibited, as well as the works of artists from near and far abroad countries.

One of the goals of the gallery is to create an art-territory in Krasnoyarsk, where the best art recourses of the city can be concentrated and to unite those from who the development of contemporary art and culture and Krasnoyarsk depend at this territory.

Art salon “Diana”

“Diana” is the largest art salon in Krasnoyarsk krai. In 6 salesroom and 1 showroom there are a lot of different pieces of art: paintings, souvenirs made from wood, birch bark, clay, porcelain, feathers, textile, mammoth tusks, leather and also there are jewels made of natural stones, items for home etc.

Also in “Diana” you can order portraits and souvenirs with your own markings.
