The main event of the season – Crafts Festival “ArtAutumn in Akademgorodok” – is to be held in Novosibirsk from September, 12 till September, 25.

The programme of the festival includes:

• Daily non-stop master classes (group applications are being accepted)

• Creativity competitions

• Designers’ fashion shows

• Folk programmes

Besides, the programme of the festival includes a fair where you can buy unique varieties of sweet honey from beekeepers, beeproducts from across Russia, eastern sweets, products of folk crafts, the most fashionable valenki and clothes, designer’s jewellery, modern accessories and hand-made presents, furnishings and household goods, herbs, Siberian cosmetics and dietary supplements.

Every day on the festival playground you can see the music group from South America “EcuadorIndians” – the melody of your heart!

The festival will take place near the Palace of Culture “Academia” and the Shopping Centre.

International Crafts Festival “Artania-2012” already took place in Akademgorodok this year in July. 83 exhibits from 7 foreign countries and 18 Russian regions and also 5 participants of culture programme took part in this festival. 150,000 people visited this festival.

Anna Valerievna, the head of non-profit fund “Cultural, educational and exhibitional centre of art crafts “Siberian Vernissage” said that they had received a lot of requests to organize “Artania” from other cities and regions, such as Ekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Sochi and Odessa.
