The book is called “Places to visit in Barnaul”. The most interesting sightseeings were chosen by citizens. They voted for 10 places which were included in the guide book.

In people’s opinion, the most interesting places have to be seen are the ostrich’s ranch where about 100 ostriches live, the tree nursery of the Institute of gardening. One more attractive place for tourists is the Ethno-graphical museum-workshop “Harmony”, where visitors could see the installation of a wooden Russian house and have an opportunity to become a potter for some time.

Another unusual place which was included in the guide book is “The Mountain’s Drugstore ”, where people could learn about ways of treatments  in time of existing of Akinfy Demidov’s mining plants. Also there is the information about the square near the Altai State Technical University of Polzunov, the Saint-Nikolay’s source, the museum “The world of time” and the mountain “The Festive”.
