19 September 2013 the Russian government signed the bill about reducing visa between Russia and the Republic of Korea.

It means that tourists from the Republic of Korea could stay in our country without a visa for 60 days, the same as Russian tourists in the Republic of Korea. It will be available for those people, who go abroad with tourists and private purposes, for example to take part in cultural, scientific or sport events. But those people who want to work, to study or to live in a foreign country for a long time should still make a visa.

The government of the Republic of Korea approves this law. It will let citizens to visit Russia more often and make their travels cheaper without fees for a visa. In the last year about 95 000 people from the Republic of Korea visited our country. And both countries expect that this number will increase.
