Singapore held the Climbing World Championship from August, 29 till September, 1.

538 sportsmen from 45 countries aged 14-19 participated in the Championship. There were 45 sportsmen in Russian team, including 8 students of Krasnoyarsk “SDUShOR named after V.Putintsev”.

At the end of the competition Anna Yemets became the winner of the World Championship in speed climbing among senior girls.

Semen Chesnokov, the student of the Merited Coach of Russian Federation Lubov Zakharova, won the silver medal in the lead climbing among senior boys. Maria Musienko (coach – Galina Gutorina) participated in the Climbing World Championship for the first time and took the 5^th place in speed climbing among junior girls.

Such rewards became possible thanks to natural conditions of Krasnoyarsk surroundings – state nature reserve ‘Stolby’  gives amateurs and professionals a chance to improve their skills in climbing.
