During a subbotnik on April 27 , hundreds of Muscovites will participate in making a lilac alley in Tagansky Park in the city centre.

Lilac bushes are among the favourite trees in Russia, and given the popularity, there are never too many of them. This will be the fifth annual event "Moscow, the City of Lilac", in which politicians, artists, youths, and families will all take place.
In addition to planting 50 lilac bushes, the participants of subbotnik will also clean the park, paint the fences, and make bird-houses.
