The famous folk trade Palekh lacquer miniature will attract tourists in Ivanovsk area. Now the local  department of sport and tourism manages the inclusion of project “Palekh – the motherland of the Firebird” in the federal special-purpose programme for touristic development on 2011-2018 years.

It is expected that the peak of popularity among tourists will be in 2014 year when the 90^th anniversary of  lacquer miniature will be celebrated. By this time the new building of museum of lacquer miniature is going to be opened. In the whole this festival is decided to make a national one.
