The program included: "The Edge of Kamchatka" art exhibition; the presentation of tourism products; the 3rd Kamchatka Regional Festival "Save the Salmon"; "Kamchatka Volcanoes" photographic exhibition; the competition-festival of bard song; the "Commonwealth" regional festival of national cultures and much more. Among the most striking and unusual events was the Itelmen national "Alhalalalay" holiday (September 13-14, "Pimchah" ethno-cultural center in the village of Sosnovka). Itelmens is one of the Kamchatka's indigenous peoples.

Autumn festival is dedicated to the harvest and gratitude towards nature. On this day, they bring gifts to Khantay, the God of fish; scare away the evil spirits and purify themselves from sin. Preserving traditions of Itelmen people, the rite was recreated in November 1988. 

The guests can not only get acquainted with the unique traditions, but also be able to participate in competitions. Among them: the best salmon handler; the best national dish; the best Itelmen grimace and the best hostess. The main event of "Alhalalalaya" was the Russia'a open championship of dances of indigenous peoples of Kamchatka. It took place in a marathon format, starting in the evening when the moon appears in the sky and was completed by noon the next day. In 2012 it lasted 16 hours and 20 minutes; everyone could take part in the dances.
