20 December at 04:00 p.m. opening of Ethnographical exhibition ”Traditional culture and life of Tuvans” will take place in Moscow Museum.
Visitors will have a unique opportunity to see more than 3 hundred original items of culture and life of Tuva people from Aldan-Maadir National Museum.
Folk art of Tuva has a rich traditions and reflects the life of Tuvans nomads. It fully bears in itself their attitude and unification with the native nature. Tuvans are still believe and revere spirits of earth, flame, mountains and rivers.
Among the exhibits visitors will see part of the yurt with furniture. The unique man and female`s silver jewelries of the end of 19 century will be presented on this exposition. All jewelries are made in a single original by Tuvans jewelers named dargans.
A black-and-white photos present the “Gold” fund of the museum. They are executed from the original negatives dated by the beginning of the 20 century. It is not only photos, which have recorded life of people lived in last century, but the historical documents which have imprinted changes, occurring in traditional way of life of Tuvans.
The exhibition is open from 20 December to 1 April 2013
